about

Back in 2002, his career began as a BC park ranger making him responsible for 46 protected areas on Northern Vancouver Island; providing a wealth of training and experience he then used to branch into the eco-tourism & fish guiding industry in 2004. Between years as a ranger in remote areas and over 18 years as a fishing guide, this has given him an intimate knowledge of the remote coastal areas of Vancouver Island, including the Brooks Peninsula, Cape Scott, the Broughton Archipelago, Quatsino Sound, Clayoquot Sound, Desolation Sound and the waters surrounding Nookta Island.

Combining these generational passions, opportunities and careers, he has become the well-rounded mariner and sport fisherman he is today.

Captain Pete is a wealth of information and will be happy to share it with you so that you too, can safely explore these rugged remote areas.
